My research

Economic growth is immense. Money, energy and technology have brought about unprecedented prosperity. Yet this prosperity is under threat: if we carry on as before, ecological collapse (and other terrible consequences) will follow. Why don’t we simply stop? Standing in our way are all-too-human traits (a fascination with money, selfishness, materialism) and the pressure to grow (no profit, no investment). How do we get out of this? Only through education and self-awareness.
