My research
I am investigating the dynamics between people, organisations and society (or societies) and want to understand which interpretative frameworks prevail and at whose expense. What were the effects of Covid policies on sex workers? How should voluntary care placements be structured so that they are not perceived as coercive? How could drug policy take people seriously rather than seeking to educate and discipline them?

Why are we taught that drugs are the cause of addiction, rather than the underlying problems that lead people to develop an addiction?
The political and social understanding of substance dependence differs significantly from the scientific understanding.

Is there a right to be neglected?
If a person is of legal age and knows what they are doing, I would grant them a right to self-neglect. However, there is no such thing as a right to self-neglect in the formal sense. It can only be inferred from other norms.
