My research
In my work, two questions always arise: 1.) What is the best medical or surgical treatment for the child? 2.) What is best for the child and their family? The questions we ask ourselves as clinicians and researchers are not always the same as those that matter most to families. Whether we are dealing with rare or common conditions, our aim is therefore to involve families and children right from the planning stage of clinical trials.
