My research
I am currently researching the life of Frieda Hauswirth (1886–1974), a feminist, writer and artist born in Gstaad. Hers is a global biography, set at the beginning of the 20th century across Switzerland, the USA and the British Empire, particularly India. My research examines Hauswirth in her roles as a cosmopolitan, feminist, anti-colonialist and expert on India.
