Dominique Grisard

My research

Dr Dominique Grisard (she/her) is a historian and gender studies scholar. Her research focuses on gender relations and diversity in the Swiss cultural sector, and she is currently writing a gender history of the colour pink. In her doctoral thesis, Grisard examined left-wing terrorism in the 1970s. Her research focuses on colour and gender, the ‘pink triangle’ and LGBTQ+ historiography, normative femininity and the material culture of childhood.
