My research

I have been studying disinformation and propaganda in depth for years because I want to understand how autocrats, populists and conspiracy theorists attempt to manipulate people through language. As a literary scholar, I am particularly interested in the role that narratives and narrative patterns play in disinformation, and how these are frequently employed in literature.
