My research

I am studying the electricity market in Western Europe after 1945. Between the construction of cross-border infrastructure – such as high-voltage power lines – and the establishment of a market – modest in scale and gradually liberalised – my research highlights that the technological aspects are only one part of a profoundly political and economic issue. I have also written a thesis on the history of public health and the 1918 Spanish flu in Switzerland.
