My research
I enjoy exploring medieval topics that have lost none of their relevance in the present day, such as the question of who sits where and on what at official receptions. Recently, I have been pondering the question of what depictions of animals are doing in medieval art, how they relate to humans in each instance, where exactly they appear and what they are doing.
