My research
My research focuses on literature and its contexts: literature and the history of ideas (Romanticism, fin de siècle, contemporary literature, literary theory), literature and science (medicine, physics, geology, optics), literature and art or aesthetics, literature and film, literature and politics, world literature, posthumanism. I also write novels, short stories, essays and literary reviews, and support persecuted Afghan colleagues.
