My research

My research focuses on the history of educational equity, schools and migration, as well as teacher training. I am fascinated by how schools and education systems have changed over time, and how educational equity and democratisation have played a part in this. At present, for example, I am investigating the expansion of upper secondary education in Switzerland and the history of the Amriswil nursery teacher training college – always with the aim of gaining a better understanding of education today.
