My research

Philosophical Care can be understood as a theory of practice which supports people in their various life situations through personal communication and is grounded in philosophy itself. By taking a focus on support rather than counselling, it becomes clear how Philosophical Care can be understood as distinct from counselling practice. Philosophical Care is more closely aligned with theological pastoral care, but is not grounded in theology.
