My research
Most landscapes and habitats are heavily shaped by human activity. Changes in land use have an impact across all dimensions of sustainability. Many agricultural and forestry practices have been carried out for centuries – so were they sustainable? Can they serve as inspiration for the development of future, sustainable land-use systems?
