Mario Kaiser

My research

I studied philosophy, zoology and computer science, and completed my PhD in philosophy on catastrophic future scenarios and their impact on the present. Ever since then, I have been fascinated by the question of how knowledge can be conveyed in such a way that people truly make it their own. Together with Corinna Virchow, I first co-founded the popular science magazine AVENUE. This gave rise to the desire to make knowledge accessible on demand – and thus to the idea of ‘savoir public’.
