My research

I have been interested in the past ever since I was a child. At first, I was fascinated by early human history, but I very quickly found the animal world more appealing. Today’s biodiversity is simply overwhelming. I trace its origins by researching and examining long-extinct organisms – fossils. It’s detective work that allows us to discover an even greater variety of animal species, forms and events. It’s simply exciting and rewarding.
