Kevin Schönholzer

My research

As a PhD student at the Jacobs Centre, I am working on the Swiss project ‘Understanding Social Gradients in Education’. My study, ‘Welfare State Policy and Educational Inequality’, analyses how state-funded early intervention programmes influence educational opportunities. I am also investigating how the expansion of education changes attitudes towards education and income. I am planning a research visit to the University of Toronto to study educational mobility and structural social change.
