My research
In my research and teaching, I explore the question of how we can make sport and physical education socially just and inclusive. What and who is needed to ensure that society’s culture of sport and physical activity is open to everyone? This involves not only considering the impact of power relations and social inequalities in the context of sport. It also involves reflecting on what we mean by performance, fairness and competition.
