My research

Ever since my youth, I have been interested in history (particularly modern history and the Roman Empire), politics, philosophy, Latin America, Russia/the Soviet Union, technology assessment (TA), utopian and dystopian literature, cyber technology and visions, the 1960s, and critical theory. I came to the subject of transhumanism via TA, which led me to nano-, neuro-, bio- and computer technologies from the early 2000s onwards, building on my previous engagement with the history of utopian thought, critical theory and cyber-visions.
