My research
My research and teaching focus primarily on the interrelationships between space, knowledge and culture in everyday life. Adopting a perspective that views culture as a practice, this brings a wide variety of fields (region, ecology, natural and cultural heritage, media, museums, tourism, etc.) into focus. My work consistently centres on spatial-social interconnections and the relationships between different systems of knowledge – such as those of academia and everyday life.
