My research
My research focuses on Eastern European literature from the 19th century to the present day, with an emphasis on Russian-language texts. My research centres on narrative depictions of illness and health, as well as the representation of national and ethnic identities. I am particularly interested in the intersections between literature, medicine and the humanities, as well as intercultural and comparative perspectives.
