My research

My main research interest lies in the field of adolescent development and education. I have focused in particular on the question of how young people develop resilience through their everyday actions. I am also interested in issues relating to young people’s transitions between educational stages, particularly in the context of how they shape their own life trajectories. Beyond these key areas, I am also interested in broader questions concerning the relationship between young people, society and development.
