My research
How do gender and migration influence (in)equality of opportunity in the here and now? To what extent did women and men enjoy equal rights in the Soviet Union? How did discrimination against women shape the lives of female mountaineers? I have explored these questions in projects and on courses. To uncover the answers, I prefer to work with biographical interviews or documentary films.
